Capital bank launched a viral referral marketing campaign aimed at acquiring new customers, the campaign is targeted to promote its WhatsApp onboarding service which encourages customers to open a bank account digitally through the most popular messaging channel “WhatsApp” without the need to visit any of its branches.

The campaign awards the top influencer who invites the highest number of friends to open an account at Capital Bank by sharing a personalized referral link through Whatsapp. Participants in the campaign can easily track the status of invitations sent, in addition to sending reminders to nudge their friends to open the bank account.
